Ženíšek: Trump has thrown a bomb into Europe's system
Donald Trump has thrown a bomb into the European system. On Sunday's Partia on CNN Prima NEWS, Science Minister Marek Ženíšek said this when he assessed the United States' trade policy.

"If Donald Trump has a well-thought-out plan, I don't see it. Rather, I see controlled chaos that is not to the benefit of international relations or world markets. Flat tariffs cannot do any good. Whoever says otherwise is not defending the interests of Europe and Czech citizens," Ženíšek said on CNN Prima NEWS.
The TOP 09 member assessed the turbulent events on the world markets caused by the statement of the US President Donald Trump. The European Union announced on Thursday that it would postpone for 90 days the countermeasures against US tariffs.
The EU was reacting to Trump's decision on Wednesday, by which the United States also postponed the high tariffs for 90 days with immediate effect, although the basic 10 percent duty remains in place. The announced move applies to all countries except China.
“The European Commission has been acting from the outset. Donald Trump hasn't done any kicking, rather he has thrown a bomb into the whole system for Europe. This is not a kick," said Ženíšek.
The Minister of Science, Research and Innovation was a guest on CNN Prima News Sunday. The debate focused on the tariff war, peace talks in Ukraine and the Czech Republic's stance on China.
