Michal Kučera was born in 1968, he lives in Louny. He graduated at the Faculty of Mining of the Mining University in Ostrava. After his studies he worked in business with specialization on development of engineering and electro technical companies in the Czech Republic and also abroad. At the same time, he contributed on the overall development and revitalization of companies to enhance their attractiveness and ability to manage the difficult market environment.
Michal Kučera was elected as a Member of the Parliament in 2013 parliamentary elections and worked in the Committee for the Environment and the Committee for the Economy. In summer 2014 he became a chairman of the TOP 09 Group in the Parliament.
In 2017 he was elected as the vice chairman of TOP 09.
